May be a return back to linguistics. It always happens in most disciplines – a return to the origin.

Too early to say. Sociology of translation and translators will be the focus for another decade or so.

According to Dr khazaee far: Maybe the focus will turn to readers of translations, (actually he said this statement in one of our classes as we were discussing about the turns of translation. We all know that in recent years the main focus has been on translators, and some of the related theories are: think aloud protocol, Lefevere’s rewriting theory and …. , so maybe in near future, theorists of translation studies shift their focus to readers, and work on this subject academically )
